Dr. George King and The Aetherius Society

I belong to a wonderful organization, The Aetherius Society, and would like to introduce this organization and its late founder, Dr. George King, to the group.

The Aetherius Society is a worldwide spiritual organization comprised of people dedicated to help heal and uplift humanity through spiritual action, founded in 1955 by the late Western Master of Yoga, Dr. George King, in order to help the Cosmic and Ascended Masters bring a state of balance back to humanity.

George King became interested in spirituality at a young age, first exploring orthodox Christianity and, later, going on to study psychic phemonena and spiritual healing. After receiving the command to become a channel for the Cosmic Masters, Dr. King mastered the sciences of Raja, Gnani, and Kundalini Yoga which allowed him to consciously attain the state of Samadhi. This power allowed Dr. King to communicate with beings from other spiritual energy spheres. In this state of consciousness, King was able to receive many teachings from the Cosmic Masters that we believe will guide humanity to spiritual enlightenment.

These teachings provide a simple, practical, and consummately accessible spiritual path. In the thirty years that I've been interested in metaphysics and spirituality, I've never found anything that compares to the Aetherius Society.

Thanks for that! I've been looking into spiritual organizations and have heard of them - they sound very genuine and positive. Would be great if other people could list what spiritual organization they belonged to and if belonging to one is necessary to becoming more spiritual!

Hello Blue:

Joining any spiritual group is Never a prerequisite to becoming more spiritual. That is a journey within, that one ultimately takes alone. However there are many wonderful groups around. And several that in MHO are not. Discernment is always wise on a spiritual path. At the end of the day, I have always found that what rings "true to me" is what counts. Take what you like and leave the rest behind. There are gems to be found in the most unusual places. Good Luck on your journey...and remember there are thousands of posts here at SB that you can add to your spiritual "knowledge book".

Hello Blue-I'm a bit late with my reply, but I wanted to thank you for your comment to my post. Yes, I have full trust and faith in the goodness and integrity of The Aetherius Society. But most definitely, there are as many spiritual paths as there are people, and many of those paths do not include belonging to an organization. However, it is said that when the student is ready, the teacher appears. But who is to say that the student isn't his own teacher? Also, while this org. really works for me and I wanted to share its existence with the forum, there are many wonderful spiritual organizations out there. Unfortunately, some not-so-genuine as well, but I feel using discretion and a careful look at any organization will give you a clear picture of its motives and intentions. Good luck on your spiritual journeys, may they always lead you upwards.
