I have never (in this lifetime) been a catholic, but being spiritual and open to all manners of Spirit. The Pope has always brought me to tears of awe when he brings so many people together and what drives him, keeps him alive it seems, is his desire to see all peoples joined together despite our individual differences. Is it .... bold of me to say that I feel connected to so many well known people..... includsing the Pope, karmically I mean. Watching him suffer physically has been like watching an old friend suffer so, just to know that he has ventured out far away from his Vatican home is very moving. He knows his time is close to an end on this Earth and that there is still so much work he has to do. Below is a picture of him recently in Syria. Anyone besides me notice the activity of his Guides nearby? And the crown chakra, so bright?
Meditate in doing, be of Spirit. Be blessed.

Though I was born into a catholic family, I have never really been catholic either. When I was 6, they had to yank me out of catholic school because I'd come home angry and confused all the time. It took me some time and work to get over some pretty venomous feelings toward Roman Catholicism and priests and the papacy in general. But I've never felt any negativity toward being in church -- when there isn't a service going on, or when I focus on the people instead of the sermon (cause the point just seems to get missed). I read the bible like I read any other book where truth can be gleaned. And I've always felt an affinity for monasteries and monks. As for this pope, he is the first and only pope who I get a good feeling from. Though he may have other energies attempting to impinge on him, in his position, and he holds the traditional Roman Catholic views, some of which there's no way for me to reconcile myself to, he feels like a pretty genuine soul to me. And oh so gentle and loving.
He's alright by me.

Dear Carolyn;
As you probably know by now, I was raised as a Roman Catholic, I was an altar Girl, and a member of the Church Choir and sang Christmas Solos at the Midnight Mass for as long as I remember. But deep down, I still felt as one with Nature, and felt that the Catholic Religion still missed something.
This Pope is a friendly, loving, caring soul, and I feel his pain and I feel a great loss throughout the world when his time will come. I listen to his words and feel the love for this world that he has.... I believe in his words for they come from his heart.
Thank you for sharing this wonderful post Carolyn....
Love, Light and Peace

Carolyn, I too was an Altar girl, went to CCD, attended CYO and was baptised a Catholic....
HOwever, I saw between the lines one day, and never went back. I was about 13 then.
I did however get married in a Catholic church, under the eyes of the LORD.........
and even went to the Father many times to ask for assistance, especially while seeing the ghostly images around me at a younger age. If It wouldn't have been for "Father Moffit"
I would have been scared for a very long time, he told me:
Fear not my child, as GOD has given you an angel that walks beside you"
From then on, I learned that it was ok to be different, and that going to CHURCH didn't really matter, as LONG as I paryed, loved my angel, and did the best I could with who I am.
As for the POPE, wow, like MOther Theresa only a male version, BLESS them and their angels of mercy.......Same with Princess Di, rest in peace and continue to guide from the star...
for they are defintely "highly evolved beings of light"
LOVE the picture
in love in light and in spirit
