Physically we are all similar and MADE the same, so The First part of your Statement up to the first coma was True. The common atheist fools him/herself into thinking there is a difference between "being religious" and "being spiritual", there is no difference. Except that many atheists are prepared to beleive in ghosts and other supernatural factors but not in God or gods. But it isn't really surprising because even atheists, like the rest of us, also need a sounding board for their busy brains, for their thoughts and emotions, worries and fears. The human animal is far too intelligent for purpose. Thus the brain only uses a fraction of its power & even then it is too much and causes far too much thought, anxiety and wondering thus a connection to the universe is required by the brain be it religion, ghosts, astrology, astronomy or talking to dolphins.
