Islamic Religion

Will muslim countries ever learn or begin to learn the path of spirituality ? It certainly scares me the extremes they will go to for their religion (some of them). If we are indeed ever contacted by higher levels of being, then them showing themselves to us, I ask myself.....what would the Islamic reaction be!? It is clear now that religion is amongst biggest brain washing of all time and it certainly surpresses cultures from mentally expanding their minds. As Mahatma Gandhi once said " the first thing you do when you have truth, is that it gives you a freedom of mind". On leslie Flint's website many of the recordings show that those who were once devoted christians etc, have seen the ways through the dogmas of such a lie and mind control. Of course when those in the higher vibration talk of god, they mean the conscious all dominating etheric force, not the orthodox view of a physical being. I personally feel that religion must go as it is far from bringing an ever lasting happy world at the moment. I don't wish to offend anyone here but it does seem that things are about to and must change......as to which direction they go in is for the moment unseen.

I'm not offended, but I did feel convicted to offer an expansion of what you said. My husband is part Iranian, so we have contact with a lot of people from Iran, which is a Muslim country (I think the demographics is somthing like 90%). Bzentyne is also still previlant. You need to understand just one thing. The reason its more common to see people who are of non-Muslim religions knowing and experiencing spiritual growth, the contact with the Universe, attending Reiki classes, changing belief systems and in general delving into self-discovery, is not because non-Muslims do it more often than a Muslim does, or because a Muslim is less open to the idea of releasing the falsehoods of religion. Its because in Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Bah'rhan, there is what is called "religious police." An actual physical police force that is like the FBI or CIA, or Homeland Security that seeks out and punishes people who are not active, practicing Muslims. Christians and jews, and other faiths dont get shot or have their families drug out into the streets and publicly stoned if they decide to change belief systems, practice in supernatural studies, or learn Reiki. Muslims who are meditating, practicing tarot, healing people with Reiki or doing astral work of any kind do it in secrecy. In fear for their families, their own lives. I hope this helps on the subject.. Love, carolyn

Fascinating! thankyou Carolyn, you have certainly shown part of the REAL truth which is what I mentioned. That is frightening!! Part of this could also explain why China and Tibet are cut off from each other in their own way. Thankyou for the reply.

What is even more scary is how Islam is held responsible for the actions of a few extremists. A good look at history of Christianity reveals a lot of crimes were committed in the name of that religion. Islam is one of many religions - the second largest in the world - and as most of the big religions, it has its extremists. Event today there are Christian extremists, for further details read http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christian_terrorism

Fact is that Islam prohibits violence:
quote:

Terrorism, unjustified violence and the killing of innocent people are absolutely forbidden in Islam. Islam is a way of life that is meant to bring peace to a society, whether its people are Muslim or not. The extreme actions of those who claim to be Muslim may be, among other things, a result of their ignorance or uncontrolled anger.

Further information on Islam: http://www.religionfacts.com/islam/ (haven't read all personally but what I saw appeared to be neutral, non-judgmental)

Especially today it is important to let go of judgmental, discriminatory views. In my personal view, no religion offers the ideal spiritual path, as that is up to each individual to discover - no religious doctrine can do that for us. I agree with you, Vibrantblue, that religions work very well to brainwash people, and that religion - any religion - is bound to fade sooner or later as dogma is not the answer, nor the path to spiritual growth.

What a nice quote from Mahatma Gandhi

I think it might be a great idea, if we set a date and a time that we ALL ON SPIRIT BOARD can send light and love to all the people around the world. In hopes that thier hearts will be open.
And as Gerrit said to " To let go of judgmental, discriminatory views".

Sounds like a good idea to me! Although we seem to have had the problem in the past on activities like this that people could not find a common time to do so, I feel it would be good if we gave it another try!
