so a "friend" has stated that she suspects that I have in the past abused an animal by throwing it. This is not me and never has been. She is currently staying in my house and I cant get past my anger towards her. Should I forgive her and let it go? If so how? I really hate losing friends.

Your "friend" had no right to tell you that, as for losing friends, most of us have very few true friends, quality is more important than quantity.
Feeling anger is not good for our health.

Have you asked her why she suspects this?
I think that instead of carrying around anger, you need to have a discussion with her and iron it all out. If she truly feels this way after your discussion, then I would start asking myself "why is she living in my house?"
Don't harm yourself by holding onto the anger. Remove it one way or another.
Just my thought.

Everyone who shares your world does so with your permission.
