Yes, but care little for the geographic location as am happy to use this medium to socialize world wide. Hopefully this place will become a little more active whilst trying to do so.

The responses are to the title, so what is your angle?

Dr.Peter Daley, to whom are you speaking? My username is Ponder. I will assume your as speaking to me.

As I have not directed my response to any one user (I typically address individuals by their user name when referring to single users. I find doing so a mindful approach; moreover less confusing in a public forum) I too am replying to the title. (It's also a respectful act.)

Must my response have some kind of agenda? apologize if it seems as if it does. We have enough of those in this world and could do without more.

If you require further explanation I would be happy to assist, but could you please be more specific to which part is unclear? Scratch that ... I'll try to explain:

I can tell you that 'Identity' is something that first popped into my pathological mind-set when formulating my response. More so with an Australian Flag flapping in the back of my mind. Then came images of hordes of people swaying their arms in a Sports Stadium with Sausage Rolls, Pies & Tomato Sauce. Let's not forget the Shrimps on a Barby and of course ... Good Morning Australia ← one's local entertainment and instructions for the day. lol - Roll all those flashing images into my subconscious filters then read my response once more.

Now I bet your even more confused.

Identity being the theme in that there response of mine. Perhaps Identity Crisis and the Pre-Conditioned manner in the way so many of us tick. It need not be any more than my original response ... but since you pushed for an angle, I thought I would give you one. Human Beings ... funny how often we define our self by location and then into the culture branches that stem beyond that. A spirited reply to be sure. Says more about me than anyone else. No agenda my friend ... all is calm, all is good.

Happy to oblige.

I ponder the purpose of this forum lately. The most important relationships I find, are those with the living. Once we move on, we become someone and something different. I can't see how looking anywhere but within; results in being and or growth ... anything else seems to equate to unnecessary pain/running/hiding ... I guess it's more about what sells. It pretty much is and has always been.
Hence the need for tags that identity us as anything but self.

Beware when you see individuals posing as such.

Food for thought. I leave you with that.

Adios.

Hello Ponder,
I am a GP retired. I also did acupuncture.
I met George King in 1958 when he founded The Aetherius Society.
I wrote a book in which I give account of my experience.
The A.S. is highly charged in spirituality with a basis of theosophical ideas and some very new ones.
I can only say it is a practical system with service the key note against the solitary quest.
The basis being from outside is too weird for most, but then "Truth Is Indeed Stranger Than Fiction", and some of the more recent disclosures would support that.
Sensitive stuff for the delicate sensibility of the moderator, or I could let you have my book and a website.
Dr.Peter Daley
