Call her a soul mate, a twin flame or whatever - i have a spiritual relationship with her. We know that at some pointin the future we will be together. I have never been able to 'feel' a person like this - to know what she is thinking and what she is going to say - we have talked for hours and we can talk for many more.

I am 51 divorced and work as a therpist and teacher and astrologer. I have done the emotional spiritual work and have opened a space for unconditional love to enter. I recently met my twin flame and the experience is not of this world. We are both ready for each other. i'm a secure happy person with or with out a relationship. I enjoy independent time by myself and with my wonderful friends. This raltionship though is not of this world. I have read about this phenomenon but one must experience to grasph. Words can not speak to the depth. A new language is required. rudolphy steiner probably speaks to this best but I'm looking to hear from others who have had common experiences. I know already that the two of us have a greater spiritual mission we could never have accomplished alone. comments?

I think its best described as the person completing who you are. Without them, your work simply cannot come to fruition. They are part of you before you meet, but timing is everything.

i have a different take on soul mates and twin flames. Twin flames are not soul mates but the next level up from that.
A soul mate is just that literally a mate who you have met on the earth plane who is part of your soul group.
However, a twin flame there are only a hand ful on the planet and unfortunately people seemingly keep getting mixed up with being with a soul mate and having a twin flame. They are literally the other part of your soul. you are basically meeting your self.
Twins also share the same dreams, speak through each other, share the same thoughts, hear each other in their minds and much more than one can comprehend.
They even know when their significant other is around. As far as I'm aware I've heard too many accounts but I am familiar with this.
I am not here to discount any bodies experiences I am merely stating from my own experiences what I view them as (-:
As a twin flame, you are identical, you do the same things as you would do, so hence coming face to face with each other, you would have had to do some tremendous spiritual work to get even that close.
A twin flame how they are different is that a twin flame is you they come together to be as one.
A soul mate is part of your soul family.
There can be much debate on this topic, but it's a nice topic to discuss.

From what you have said, I believe you two are soul mates. Here is an exerpt that I wrote that I think will be of help to you:
A Soul Mate is someone who is destined to be with another kindred spirit. Soulmates understand and supporting eachother in every way. These two are extremely compatable and live a very harmonious life.

nah...I am talking from personal experiences and what has been told. I didn't even believe in angels and channellings and soul mates yet alone twins. It's a new concept for me and one not to be taken lightly.
Everyone has their own confusions maybe just like myself, but I know that it's important to everyone to know they are never alone, on the planet and they never will be. Everyone has been given their other half but no one wishes to believe it. They can get confused alot because it's so rare and precious that they can't believe what is happening to them.
Everyone can post what they think, but it is that profound that each one will get their turn in time to feel the preciousness of what it feels like.
You are not the same with a twin flame prescence you are together with that person, all in one in body mind and soul. The same person. (-:

For me Angelhealer has really hit the nail on the head with thier interpretation of a Twin Flame. I have only recently discovered the excistence of twin flames, and can say it must be absolutely beautiful and serene to have found your twin flame.

I believe what is said about twin flames.
It is not always love that is there.
I have a soul mate and we battle all the time but for some reason we are brought together time and and time again.
